Rob has been providing business advisory services to the Canadian and international hospitality and leisure industries for 25 years.
Prior to forming HLT in 2005 with Lyle Hall, Rob was Managing Director of the PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Canadian Hospitality and Leisure practice area within the Corporate Finance group. Rob spent 15 years at PWC including one of its predecessor firms (Coopers & Lybrand).
Rob has completed a wide range of hospitality and leisure assignments for both private sector and public sector clients in every province in Canada, as well as in a number of US jurisdictions. Many of these assignments have focused on the development and operation (including administering RFP and transaction processes) of some of the largest hospitality (gaming, sports and entertainment) projects in Canada and in the US. Rob is a frequent speaker at gaming industry events and is often called upon by clients to discuss and interpret industry trends.
In his “spare time” Rob can usually be found doing yard work, trying to hit a golf ball, cooking Sunday dinner or “hanging-out” with his son at one of his Special Olympics sporting events or walking with his autism assistance dog, Vance.
