DREW CHAMBERLAIN
DIRECTOR
In addition to being a Chartered Accountant, Drew is a seasoned casino professional with over 15 years of senior management experience acting in both CFO and General Manager roles at varying times with the Niagara Casinos. While Drew's background relates primarily to the financial elements of operating a casino as CFO, he is equally versed in the operations side of the business earned through his tenure as General Manager at Casino Niagara. Drew is experienced at all aspects of casino operations including table games and slot operations, financial aspects including cage operations, corporate and casino accounting as well as internal audit functions, legal and regulatory requirements, information technology, human resources, security, marketing, facilities, food and beverage and hotel operations. In addition to the operations side of the business, Drew has experience working with architects and construction managers ensuring necessary operational elements are included in the design and build out of casino facilities, in a cost effective manner.
Prior to his operational experience in the casino business, Drew worked with the Ontario Casino Corporation (predecessor to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation) in the capacity of CFO and was involved in negotiating operating agreements for both Casino Rama and Casino Niagara with private sector operators. Drew began his career with KPMG, where five years were spent in the general audit practice and two years were spent in the Forensic and Investigative Unit.
Drew received a Bachelor of Business Management Degree from Ryerson University in Toronto in 1987. Outside work Drew can be found on a golf course, in an ice rink or behind his drum kit.
