KATIA MURO

Katia Muro has been in the consulting industry for over seven years, four years with HLT specializing in the gaming, hospitality and leisure industries in Canada. Prior to joining HLT in 2006, Katia worked at Clayton Research and Associates, where she focused on the analysis of commercial and residential real estate markets across the GTA and surrounding areas. She holds an Honours B.A. in Economics from Lakehead University and a M.A. in Economics from the University of Guelph. Katia is fully bilingual in English and Spanish having been born and raised in Peru until the age of 18.

Since joining HLT, Katia has been primarily involved in gaming and gaming related assignments conducted for both the public and private sector. Her experience includes the market and financial analysis of numerous gaming markets across Canada and some international jurisdictions.

When not consulting, Katia releases stress by practicing yoga and kick-boxing.
