MATTHEW KLAS

ANALYST

Matthew joined HLT as an Analyst in 2010. Prior to his consulting career, Matthew worked in the commercial solutions industry analyzing and customizing sound masking systems in order to cater to clients' unique needs. A graduate of Brock University, Matthew holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree as well as a Masters of Business Administration. During his time studying at Brock, Matthew and a colleague also developed an award winning business plan that involved opening and operating a new gaming venue.

In his consulting career, Matthew has assisted in gaming projects ranging from environmental scans to market feasibility studies in five different provinces. Matthew also has experience in the hotel industry performing feasibility analyses for new hotels in major Canadian markets. Additionally, Matthew managed the update and redesign of the HLT Hotel Database, one of the largest and most detailed of its kind with respect to Canadian hotel supply.
