Matthew joined HLT in January 2010. A graduate of The Goodman School of Business at Brock University, Matthew holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree as well as a Masters of Business Administration.
Matthew leads HLTs convention centre practice area and has completed numerous convention centre assignments across Canada and Internationally. These assignments have included involvement in development planning, expansion planning, operational reviews, and market assessments. Over the past ten years Matthew has conducted the Convention Centres of Canada benchmarking report and he has completed an international benchmarking assignment for AIPC in each of the last three years. Matthew also frequently speaks at industry events and individual centre board/executive meetings.
In the gaming industry, Matthew has completed projects in in numerous Canadian and US markets as well as some international jurisdictions. Notable projects include the evaluation of proposals for full-service casinos in Kansas, Massachusetts and Ontario, financial modelling for private and public sector clients, as well as completing market assessments in British Columbia, Ho Chi Minh City and Vladivostok.
